- One such person that passed away last week was MIKE COLLAZO. A wonderful percussionist that was with Tito Puente for many years. In fact, when Puente was not around, it was Mike that played the timbales. BTW, Mike, Orlando Marin and I, graduated from the same high school - SIA (Scholl of Industrial Arts).
- On a happy note, I will be presenting my 1970s "Salsa Explosion" multi-media presentation this month in Sacramento, California and at New Jersey's 1st Salsa Congress the weekend of April 25th.
